In what has become one of the most exciting and controversial clashes of Lord of the Mics 3,OG'z affiliate Kozzie and Birmingham Grime MC Sox have had a war of words and although Sox flopped in the dungeon with Jammer and Cameraman Sketch and couldn't remember his lyrics the 0121 representative has wasted no time recording and filming a diss track to kozzie who really doesn't seem to care and who wont be sending any tracks back his way because default or not he still won and that's what counts.
Now bring on that Tre Mission dude and lest see what he's got as he had a lot to say about both Kozzie and Sox and seemed eager to get involved in a clash while Lil Nasty has been baiting Kozzie recently on Twitter,very exciting times indeed stay locked for more.
One of the UK's Brightest Urban stars much anticipated third mixtape Friggin L has dropped, Including her very own version of the Chris Brown track ‘Look at me now’ of which she did a cover video for prior to the mixtape release and this landed her on the American site Worldstar HipHop as well as seeing artists such as Lil Wayne and Trey Sonz showing their support and admiration of her talent.
As usual Lady Leshurr has given her ‘Shurrporters’ exactly what they were looking with a handful of beats where Lil Wayne has featured in- to a couple of UK bangers such as ‘Game Over’ by Tinchy Strider and ‘Monster Man’ by Giggs.
Lady Leshurr also displays her versatility during her mixtape as she spits, raps and sings on a selection of rap/hip-hop, grime and also bashment instrumentals.
Straight from the intro, Leshurr attacks the Rick Ross ‘B.M.F’ instrumental with her unorthodox double speed rapping showing her ability and what to expect from the rest of the mixtape very early.

The above are some of the stand out lines within the mixtape that underline the progression from her prior mixtapes. Friggin L finishes with ‘Friggin Ltro which is Lady Leshurr's version of an outro where she calls different artists within the UK’s urban scene and gets them to say Friggin L with all outtakes included.
The only negative that is evident about the mixtape is the fact it is only 9 tracks long including the outro and introduction; though on a hole Friggin L is definitely worth listening to and Lady Leshurr's best mixtape so far lyrically and quality wise.
Big Shizz introduces New Grime MC Pyro who drops some hard bars over the S-X and Trilla 0121 riddim and he goes in showcasing a bit of what he has coming in the future.
Birmingham are going inn with Grime raves at the moment and Goonies is fast becoming the biggest night in the Midlands and with line ups like this its not difficult to understand why as Dj Smalls drops some of the biggest instrumentals with some of the Midlands hottest Grime MC's Trilla,Bomma B,Tornado,Y.G and many of the hottest new wave of 0121 Grime representatives who all go inn doing their thing and as you will see from the crowds reaction its definitely an event which any Grime will appreciate.(Shouts to DespaCam for another hot Video)Gooooonnnnieeeeees!
Fresh after the s-x produced '0121' Birminghams Trilla jermaine Trilloski is back with another hard Grime freestyle dropping the second part to his Epic Flush Raw freestyle with Trilla getting busy on a sick sounding Grime instrumental and displaying the exact flow and delivery which have made him a favourite amongst Grime fans and MC's in and out of Brum with him spitting pure fire bars like ("Loose control,no morals,cash up front,no quarrels,more time man are camped up in the rave surroundedby cheese and champs and models")

S-X from the StayFresh camp is the producer behind the biggest Grime instrumental of 2010 the 'Woooo Riddim' and has started this year pretty much the same with the '100 Bags' instrumental which is picking up pace and already a crowd favorite not to forget him working his magic on the Skepta and Chipmunk track 'Big' off Skepta's forthcoming 'Doin' it again' album as well as the recent Chipmunk freestyle.
This mixtape '3000 followers' is to celebrate him reaching 3000 followers on twitter and contains some of his hardest Grime instrumentals to date with him dropping the 'Burial' and '0121' as well as few more monster beats to say thanks to everyone for following the Stay Fresh producer.
Trilla Jermain Trilloski is one of Birminghams finest when it comes to Grime and although he isnt the most technical MC in the game he is easily one of the most charasmatic and brings his energetic Brum flow to any beat as was made evident on his 'Woooo riddim' which was regarded as one of the best versions and put Birmingham back in the game.
This track 0121 produced by S-X is a nice party starter and will definitely smash any rave in Brum to bits and is taken from Trillas forthcoming mixtape of the same title which will be released on Feb 7th 2011
Malik(MD7) has really been going in recently with some scorching hot guest spots on tracks with every one from Giggs,S.A.S,G Frsh,K Koke,Margs,Meeks,Squingy,OP(Loyalists) to name a few as well as his now infamous 'Fire in the booth freestyle' is considered by many to be one of the best.
Showing absolutely no sign of letting up Malik drops this banger for the streets 'Ready to Go' which sees Malik dropping bars which will be felt by any one who understands the Streets or appreciates Street Lyricism with lines like ("Doing me,need got to eat in more ways so I get to get up off my feet it all pays,this week I'm straight from the streets and more raves,had about 8 hours sleep in four days,My minds made up so that's the way it has to be ,I cant hear you Dog,I'm deaf actually cos when it comes to bars and rhymes you cant chat to me heading for the the stars on the rise rapidly!")

The Birmingham Hip Hop Scene has produced some of the hardest Artists and Producers in the UK and although they are often overlooked by the scene in London they have gone on to create their own scene which is extremely vibrant at the moment with Hip Hop Artists like Malik'El President' (MD7),BIG.V,Meeks, S SQUAD,Gorilla Sawnoff,Justice,Royalists as well as Grime Mcs Trilla,Booma B,Tornado not to forget Lady Leshurr as well as a whole set of talented new comers (hold tight Romo,Stomz,Shemskie,K.B!!) but among the brightest of all the new Artists to emerge from the second citys burgoning scene is Continental GT who is a Fly & flash bredda,but not in a bad way as he thoroughly keeps things motivational (Getting it in!) is a term he often uses and with a name like Continental GT what else would you expect?
If I were to compare Continental GT to another UK Artist it would possibly be somewhere between Blade Brown and B-Dubble as he shares the same cocksure swagger patios tinged punchlines and Push it to the Limit mentality! GTs Music is definitely one for the Bigboy Trappers and Hustlers out there with Flossy lines like ("Real fly boys,yeah I know you heard of us,no jewellery the dress code does enough,no security the goons are right behind us, and champagne rose is what we bust!") and the roadman dem("i see alot of breddas claiming that they go hard!Im like go hard? which part?they aint true religion jeans your a known fraud!stop lying to the people people,Im nice with a pen,fam cool with the pencil and we can get it popping over this instrumental!") notice how he rhymed Hard with Fraud!(only 0121 Artists can get away with that!)
As an MC and Lyricist Continental GT comes across extremely capable of upholding the standards and has proved this by Recording with some of UKs Heavyweights Sincere and Malik on the remix of Rhiannas 'Go Hard' Expect to see a full interview with Continental GT in the Grime Report soon,but for now check this out
