[ CLICK TO DOWNLOAD ]As a Grime Artist the name Mini musical is probably as new to you as it was to me but I can guarantee with his debut mixtape "Ministry of grime vol 1&2"he just might get things popping as he offers up 15 hardcore Grime tracks.
The Mini man starts things off with the impressive "Intro" which is 2.59 mins of straight raw bars over a sick instrumental and finds Mini dropping lines like("Your just pissed like babies/I will never catch your bars like rabies/taking flows like say they was bailiffs/and I do this ting,I'm the greatest!")straight way you get a feel that this young upstart has a lot of lyrical talent and this is confirmed on tracks like"They want me to frown","Hows my work rate" and "Your a no show" where Mini drops bars like("your holding silver with a slow flow/Your cheques gets bounced like with a pogo").As well as having some very slick punchlines and metaphors Mini Musical is also quite Skilled at putting together hooks,this is evident on tracks like "Quarter past you ft Zeeko" and "The working Class"which is probably the highlight of the mixtape as it relates to working a 9 to 5 which is something most Grime Mcs shy away from but Mini manages to drop intelligent lyrics like("Every day I'm alive and working for wages/Blood,sweat,bars and earning the payslips/turning the pages/working for ages/burning the pages/burning the majors".
All in all Mini Musical has done well in selecting his lyrics,Beats and Bars but could have done with more concepts on his tracks as sometimes it can sound like an Mc just riding a beat and not an actual track,aside of this "Ministry of Grime" is a highly entertaining listen and intro to the Grime game as Mini doesn't glorify Drugs,Guns or anything senseless which is a balance needed in the grime game and with a little bit of time and effort should be spread by Mini from Snow hill to Streatham!
