One of the UK's most popular Rap Artists and Political Activist Lowkey has announced today that he will be stepping away from Music and in a message via his Facebook account has also said he will be de activating his account just like he did his twitter account.
Many of his fans are upset by this news an the internet has been flooded with messages asking him to re consider but as someone who knows him personally I can say he won't, as once he has made up his mind that's it.
Having watched Lowkey grow from his days at Deal Real until now I can say that his development and growth have been phenomenal and I can only wish him the best.
“After many months of contemplation I have decided to step away from music and concentrate on my studies. Maybe at some point I will get back into it again but at this stage I feel I should direct my energy in different, more helpful directions. The ego is a destructive thing and I feel this business and these social networks in particular have a tendency to feed it in an unhealthy way. I will be decactivating this page.
