Last year I predicted big things for Northampton Grime representative Izzie Gibbs who has fought hard for his recognition and respect in the Grime scene over the past 12 months with the rising star dropping solid freestyles regularly as well as radio appearances and a willingness to enter battles on just about any platform available.
In other words Izzie Gibbs is hungry.
Izzie's hunger is easily his driving force and see's him delivering the mixtape Real To The Death which features an 7 impressive and well put together tracks not straying from the Grime sound which is where his rapid flow and higher level wordplay are at its best as is exemplified on the tracks Rude Boy, Who Said and Live My Life as well as proving he can hold his own against big guns Manga & Opium on the track Where I've been which also features J Wing.
Look out for more from Izzie Gibbs coming soon.
