Chipmunk has spoken of his relief at being alive after a horrific quad bike accident left him heavily injured.
The rapper - now known as Chip - posted a snap on Instagram of his cut head, complete with 12 stitches and heavy bandages, after being treated in hospital in Malia recently
"I guess it weren't my time to die but it's defo a sign maybe I'm not meant to go LA just yet," he wrote.
The singer describes how he was riding a Quad Bike at full speed when he crashed, and said it "looked like a scene out of Final Destination meets Fast & Furious."
He added: "Came out with 12 stitches to the head... Grazes all over my body... And no use of my right leg. But can move my toes a lil. My experience in hospital in Malia was HELL but I wasn't tryna stay there man. So I forced my way back in a wheel chair and that."
Read his full account of the ordeal here, in his own words:
"Today I was meant to fly to LA to put my finishing touches at last on records to be properly released like iTunes and that... It's been a good 3 years since I've had an official release. So you could imagine how gutted I am.
"Same speed I'm just merciful to be alive. I know people that have died from bike crashes... They been speaking to me the past couple days.
"Quad Bike crash full speed on a 400cc that looked like a scene out of Final Destination meets Fast & Furious. Came out with 12 stiches to the head... Grazes all over my body... And no use of my right leg. But can move my toes a lil.
"My experience in hospital in Malia was HELL but I wasn't tryna stay there man. So I forced my way back in a wheel chair and that. Got a note that said I was fit to fly some bandooloo way tbh.
"All I was thinking is I gotta make this LA trip finish these records the year is flying. But I came back and spoke to my family and Dr... He said as much as I'm driven and wanna do this the air pressure could burst my stiching open so yeah I'm seckled.
"Was fully on recording still wheel chair or what ever but i guess it weren't my time to die but it's defo a sign maybe I'm not meant to go LA just yet. So last night I was coolin... Then out of no where lost consciousness... Went green... Then white... Then had to get rushed to hospital.
"Where I met that WITCH of a doc. They gave me further examinations which showed no signs of internal bleeding but my leg considering there was no break or fracture was infected and heavily bruised hence me not being able to move it.
"So laying on the bed about to be discharged I asked the Witch if she could exchange the dead crutches I got from Malia as they don't give my wrist support... With no leg I need my arms.
"She said we only give crutches for breaks or fractures! I said well I didn't walk myself in here and still can't actually walk soooo no suggestions? She said No! And when I asked for her name... She walked off :/ !
"The lovely receptionist went and got me a wheel chair. Apparently this doc was the Sister In Charge... I didn't get her name... A crutch... Or a chair from her. Just praying on a smooth recovery man. #Believe&Achieve."

And that's why I hate Quads. I have been riding motorbikes since I was 6 (18 now) but I will never ride a quad. Hope he has a quick recovery.
