Wretch 32 stated clearly that he will never go on the Jeremy kyle show on his top ten crossover smash 'Traktor' but Capital FM's James Barr decided to suprise the Grime MC and UK Rapper by putting him on the phone to Jeremy and its actually very funny.Look out for Wretch 32's Debut album coming soon.
Wretch 32 completely tore it down at I Luv Live on Monday and it was a road block affair with the venue packed with artists from all genres of the UK Urban game with Mr Hudson,G Frsh,Sincere,S.A.S,Sway,Little Dee,P-Money,Lioness,Stylah,Castro(D Fam),Superstar Selah,Nu Brand Flex,Ed Sheeran,A.dot,Mr Shaowdo,Haze and many more coming down to show their support, as well as an array of beautiful women and some extremely weirdly dressed guys who all came to check out some live music.
If you have been to I luv Live you will know that once it hits capacity downstairs it can be a bit of a sauna so I stayed upstairs and networked but fortunately NBT and We Going In.com were on hand to record the proceedings catching Wretch 32 performing his new smash 'Traktor' with a live band and Calibars supporting him on stage the track 'Traktor' which is doing a lot on the underground circuit as well as on the radio and in commercial circles.Hopefully 2011 should see nothing but good news for Wretch as he remains humble,Makes some top quality tracks and sets a good example to the youngsters which is something most artists are slacking on these days.
Griminal has dropped the remix to 'Supa Dupa' and its a banger still with Chipmunk,Ghetts,Nasty,Krept,Wretch 32 and Baby Blue joining him on this hip hop inspired track with all Artists going in lyrically as well as a lot of subliminal messages being sent with Griminal getting at kozzie,Chipmunk dissing J.M.E ("Claiming you dont want to get signed,Stop lying") as well and Nasty dissing Kano ("The only KA I like is fruit punch") all in all a good quality track should be interesting to see what this stirs up in the Grime world.
This is a banger featuring some of the scenes hardest all I will say is this is exactly what a Remix is supposed to be featuring Hard bars from Ghetts,Maxta,Fuda Guy,Slix and Wretch this might actually be better than the original with even Tinchy dropping Grime bars and a freshly signed Griminal,This is definitely a contender for Remix of the year.
Mercston's really not for play and this is evident in his work rate and quality of his music.Ventilation is an 11 track ep with some big guest spots as well as hard production.Features include Wretch 32,Maxta,Stutta and more. Full Review coming.
