REVIEW - KIDDERACHI - THE DISTINCTION E.P

Kidderachi dropped the  highly impressive and well received Swag flu and +Plus Mixtapes last year as well some very hot guest verses and Freestyles now North London's Kidderachi is back with his latest UK Rap offering, The Distinction E.P in which Kidderachi drops 8 tracks of some of Hard UK Trap Rap but with a very sophisticated feel as He drops bars dripping with descriptive hard hitting and well thought out lyrics which will instantly separate him from today's batch of hurry come up and lack of real talent Rappers.
The Distinction E.P Starts off with the cinematic sounding Stereotype which see's Kidderachi reminding you nothings changed as far as Hot Lyricism goes as Kidder displays what makes him a treat to the game ,his undeniable ability to channel his thoughts into rhymes whist staying focused on his topic and with a level of reality you have to respect
("They say there's a legacy, product of a teenage pregnancy,My parents tried their best, but I'm hard headed,so my lust for the paper blurred my vision couple times,You can hear it I'm my rhymes that I love money")
he spits on Stereotype.
Tracks to check are the hard hitting Street anthem Tugging or Blogging? the thought provoking Divine Souls featuring Klashnekoff and Haze' as well as the vulnerability and Heartfelt emotion on Heavenly which see's Kidderachi offering a real thorough glimpse into his life and times and at a level many Artists will have trouble achieving in terms of Sheer honesty
("Ask Mum She thought I would be the last Son,then She had two more,Now its getting Hard Dun,Cos one of the Brothers died the others ten, who'd you think he's looking up to for guidance, teach him and I guide him show to him the way,and I'm only showing him books I'm never showing him Yay")
The Distinction E.P is an E.P which works on many levels as it has something for everyone without trying too hard, there's the beautifully sung vocals as well as a wide range of emotions, aspirations, a touch of Bravado a heavy dose of reality along with some of the best beats I have collectively heard on a UK Rap project in a long while with equal attention paid to the needs of his Male and Female listeners.
This is an E.P which should see Kidderachi's stock in the UK Rap game grow as It shows he has fully evolved from Rapper to Artist which is evident throughout The Distinction E.P making this is a body of work I would have happily paid my hard earned Money on and I'm sure many of you will agree.
UK Rappers take note because this is how it should be done.
10/10 DISTINCTION!

Review : Kidderachi +PLUS Mixtape

The North London Swagger don Kidderachi is back with another dose of his roadrap from him and a few friends as he drops his new mix tape 'Plus+' which comes after the highly rated and street certified 'Swag Flu' which was released earlier this year as well as numerous collaborations with other artists on their projects.
Its immediately evident that 'Plus+' shows a marked growth in Kidderachi's music in terms of lyric's,content and beat selection and this mix tape has a much more sophisticated feel than 'Swag flu' also the abundance of quality features makes it is clear Kidderachi is officially in the game now and by the end of '+plus' you will agree that he's another definite contender in the game.
Starting things off with the slick sounding 'What it is' featuring Fiasco the two trade bars over a hot beat leading nicely into the menacingly dark 'Don't know we' feat BMD with Kidderachi dropping bars like ("Sloan Street attire don I'm looking right, grinding on the roads I ain't looking left,I'm looking Fresh, cos we fling z's like the feds on us, that's why we always go shopping with your rent on us")
Definitely another North anthem.
Check out the Grown Hustler feel of 'I do it' feat Continental GT,SK Villain and Yogi who are all on their top form over the Rick Ross instrumental. For the Trappers out there check out 'Swimming in Money' ft Juvee,'Wasting time' ft SK Villain and Fem Fel with hard bars from all artists on the track also checkout the extremely hard but melodic 'Trap Food' ft ST with Kidderachi declaring ("I -put-work- in-on-the-curb-king,shells to squirting they tear off the shirt and they burn skin")
One of the biggest tracks on the '+Plus' mix tape is the haunting street anthem 'In the hood' featuring Young Mad B,Dough Boi and Strapzy with Young Mad B providing another classic chorus for the streets and the three MCs all on point as they detail gritty street narratives over an ice cold beat but its not just a Shotta and Road Rap affair as is shown with tracks like 'My Thang (UK Remix)' feat Lazed,S.A.S,Big and SK Villain with all the artists having a ball over the futuristic southern inspired beat also check out 'Rash Boy' feat BMD and the excellent 'Le premier' feat Casks Bells and Ebb with the Cases spitting in french but none the less the track is a hot one as they murder the bouncy beat!
'+Plus' ends with the dark sounding 'No comment' feat Skrillz,Sk villain and J money with Kidderachi spitting ("so on it, Breightling with the rose gold on it,thorough call me no comment K, do dirt in a so honest way,I do know honour pays")
This mix tape is a essential addition to anyone's Trap music/Road Rap collection as Kidderachi and co keep this covered with an abundance of tracks catering to this although it would have been nice to hear more introspective tracks and maybe a bit more of Kidderaci on his own like the leaked 'Exhibit K Freestyle',That said this is a mix tape which won't be leaving the collection any time soon a solid 8.5/10

Birmingham's GT has linked up with Derby Lyricist Yogi and North London representatives SK Villain and Kidderachi for this laid back banger but dont think any one of these Artists are slacking or relaxing on the track as they all spit flames over a Rick Ross instrumental. Look out for GT's forthcoming 'Back to the music Mixtape'coming real soon.

REVIEW - VERSA BEATZ? THE MIXTAPE

Let's get this straight Versa aint playing and I guarantee after one listen to this mixtape you will understand why! Hosted by Dice (Hoods Hottest) & consisting of a selection of the cream of the crop of UK Artists,a few US collabos and a few talented Up and comers doing their thing lyrically and vocally with Mr Versa handelling Beat duties over all 16 tracks and he does one hell of a job!
It seems as if Versa happens to know exactly what Artists should go over which beat and this is where this project excels over a lot of producer based projects which tend to feel like a collection of tracks rather than a showcase of what the producer actually brings and Versa shows the difference between a BeatMaker and a Producer with this.
Versa manages to fully set a mood and a tone with each of his instrumentals and whether its a sample based or sample free beat Versa handles things competently using different instruments on just about every track whic range from Menacingly dark'Raw freestyle' ,Anthemic 'Jaja City', to Futeristic club bangers like'London City' even covering Grime 'Witheld' and you can tell time has been spent on mastering which is often overlooked.
Its hard to pick out the hardest tracks on here as every one goes hard, but do check 'Raw Freestyle' feat Skrilla Kid Villain,'Lizzy' feat Kidderachi ,'Leave me alone' feat Propane, 'We go hard' feat Jaja Soze,A.P(D-Block),and Tempman as well as the futuristic bounce on 'No intro no hook' feat Lefty London and flips plus the thought provoking 'I have a dream' feat Haze
All in all this is one of the hardest UK producer mixtapes period!
A Solid 9/10. Download this Now and Drop Versa a Fiver if you see him as its worth it!
