ReplyDeleteAt 19 years old, there's a new face on the London music scene in 2013 - this young man has an undeniable feel to his songs, a unique blend of skillful story telling and image provoking poetry - describing in great detail his mini stories of life growing up in one of London's toughest districts, Deptford.
Introducing JRD who started rapping at the tender age of 7 years old, listening carefully and being heavily influenced by Jay Z, Bob Marley and Lupe Fiasco to name but a few. His tracks have meaning, a purpose and give you a straight up vision of what life is like South of the river in 2013, however that is not all to this young rapper - his songs, lyrically and musically propose a different way of looking at life. From capturing inspiring landscape images on his camera to supporting his beloved Arsenal, you can't but admire and be amazed with JRD's talent and musical journey, one which has not even begun.

UK rapper Skye is thrilled to announce the release of his first E.P, titled ‘Inception’.
ReplyDeleteSkye was born in London and has always had a passion for music. Over the years he has perfected his talent and as a teenager he would sign up to music courses in order to develop his skills. And boy, does it show!
Skye likes to keep busy and his dedication to music has earned him the nickname ‘Aim High Skye’. He spent the entire summer performing gigs in and around London in order to build up hype for the release of his debut E.P. As well as performing in various club venues and talent shows, Skye was honoured to be asked back to the college where he studied in order to perform to the new students.
The hot young rapper, who has the kind of voice that could easily melt butter, is currently working on material for his debut E.P, ‘Inception’, on which he says will contain 4 great tracks.
The E.P is scheduled for release on [insert date here] and Skye is extremely excited about it. The first track, ‘Free Your Mind’, already looks set to be a big hit as Skye has bagged himself a flock of adoring fans who love it! Skye’s long-term friend, Rico Campbell (of ICOproductions), filmed the video for the track.
