Review - Kozzie - The Problems started

South East London Grime MC and OG'z affiliate Kozzie has dropped his debut Mixtape 'The Problems Started' and after causing a major buzz in the Grime scene with countless Live sets,Radio Sets,Freestyles as well as one of the biggest tracks this year Spartan Remix (One of the only Grime tracks to be play listed on BBC Radio 1Xtra this Year) Kozzie's work rate and tenacity have definitely pushed himself to the top of the New Wave of Grime MC's.
To his full Credit The Problems Started is Pure Grime and Kozzie has done well to drop 12 tracks of Grime with no weak Pop attempts or any Forced UK Rap tracks which spoil a lot of Grime MC's Releases.
Kozzie has assembled a shortlist of some of Grimes hottest producers for this project and the results are good Spooky,Flava D,Faze Miyake,Splurt,Cottie,Darq E Freaker,S-X and more all come up with the goods creating instrumentals which go with Kozzies flow and keep things interesting.
Kozzie delivers on this Mixtape and drops all his anthem lyrics as well as a bag of new ones mixing in between the two which is good for new listeners as well as his old fans for exclusives tracks like Keep It Grime and Taking the Piss
("I'm Older,I'm colder,19 years with a yout' on the way,the G** hands strong with the Ma* I'll spray,Left them didn't do F for the ends,back with a skeng,no need to pretend,I don't really care no need for a friend,when you hear this don't try for a send but your Girlfriend still says Kozzie is Peng!")

The Problems Started is a Grime mixtape through and through and its good to see that Kozzie has repped fully and although I want to Party and Riding Out are misplaced tracks and there could have been a few more collaborations this is definitely a solid debut and one for any true fan of Grime.
The Problems officially Started and will Only Get Worse and Worse as this problems a future Disaster!
As Far as debut mixtapes go this is how it should be done.
