DIDDY LOOKING TO SIGN SKEPTA???

With the success of UK artists such as Jay Sean,Mr Hudson,Estelle,Taio Cruz and Leona Lewis in the US,As well as recent the efforts from N-DUBZ,Alexandra Burke,Master Shortie and the Sugar Babes have got a lot of record companies in the US focusing on UK talent and shopping for UK artists with the latest being the infamous P.Diddy who is creating a lot of hype on twitter about signing a UK rapper with reports and rumours of it being everyone from BIGZ to Maxwell.D to Dot.Rotten,but it has recently come to light that the Artist in question might be Skepta.
P.Diddy is famed for his introduction of the Ghetto Fabulous lifestyle as the poster boy for champagne and Rolex era of the late 90s,With Badboy records being the home to The Notorious B.I.G,L.O.X,Lil Kim,Total and more recently Black Rob,G-dep & Shyne.Although thoroughly respected for his business acumen P.Diddy also has a long list of disgruntled artists in the music industry with a lot of talented artists having their careers ended or put to the side after signing to the label.
This is best explained in the book'Life after Badboy'by Mark Currey(formerly signed to Badboy)I can only hope that Skeptas fate if he does sign with Diddy is better than that of others he has signed!,Anyhow this serves as another good look for the scene in general with hopefully more Artists getting signed by people who understand the music industry and can actually make something happen.
